              IndexCreditCards.com has named its annual list of the best new credit cards this year. Taking into account the card's range of appeal, strength, and traffic from the indexcreditcards.com site, they weighed the rewards each card offered to compile the list.

              The list, by card name and what its perks are:

    1. Saks World Elite MasterCard – First general-use card issued by Sak's, offers generous rebates.

    2. ESPN Total Access Visa Card – Card holders are earn points to attend ESPN sponsored events like the ESPYs, as well as a plethora of sports equipment and fan memorabilia.

    3. Chase Home Improvement Rewards Visa – Actually pays out a point on dollar of interest accrued – a real rarity.

    4. Best Buy Reward Zone MasterCard – Another first time general-use card for the retailer in question, offering better rewards than the previous in-store only card.

    5. Enlightenment Card – Offers unique rewards like yoga retreats and Pilates classes.

    6. Bank of America MLB Extra Bases Credit Card – Offers the chance at more experiences (like throwing the 1st pitch at your home team's game) than its previous MLB-affiliated card.

    7. GM Flexible Earnings Card – Now offers cash back rewards OR discounts on GM vehicles – the former incarnation offered only the discounts.

    8. Borders 3.2.1 Visa – Offers double points on certain purchases, in addition to a standard program earning discounts and gifts at Borders.

    9. BP Visa Rewards – Offers a stellar introductory deal of 10% cash back on BP gas purchases for two months.

    10. Home Depot Rewards MasterCard – Yet another first time general-use card, with rewards at the home improvement superstore.
