AmEx Gift Cards Get Snazzy
American Express recently upped the ante on its gift card program, adding extras at 20 participating retailers. Gift card holders can enjoy such perks as a free dessert, two-for-one frames of bowling, or a merchandise discount of 5 – 20% off at select merchants. Additionally, AmEx has rolled out three new specifically themed gift cards – "Especially for Birthdays," "Especially for Kids," and "Especially for Teens."
AmEx gift cards come in flexible denominations from $25 - $500, and are accepted anywhere that takes American Express. The gift cards are replaceable if stolen or lost, for a fee.
