News: Brinkman Launches NextPay
Brinkman Financial Company a full service electronic payment and credit card services technology has launched their new NextPay, LLC credit card payment processing provider. Brinkman designs and develops financial software products and has been an industry leader for over 25 years. The company's new subsidiary, NextPay, will be an extension of Brinkman's services to the banking, transportation, and online services to include the retail, ecommerce, and mail order industries. The company's new merchant credit card processing services will enable Brinkman to take its knowledge and expertise to another level. Brinkman has hired Lynn Varnell as Chief Operating Officer for NextPay. Varnell, formerly of Chase Paymentech and long time veteran of the industry stated that the company will address the industry's concerns of the "economy and security."
According to Mark Brinkman, President of Brinkman Financial Company, NextPay is unique in that it is one of the few companies that offer a one stop shopping concept for merchants. Providing all services under one umbrella will make it easier and more economical for merchants to get their needs met while assuring their customer's credit card information is secure. Their software capabilities will also enable them to provide a unique set of products and personalized solutions. NextPay is prepared to meet the new Payment Card Industry (PCI) debit and credit card and electronic payment standards that are due to be implemented in 2010.
The PCI maintains the ongoing development and implementation of standards, security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other security measure involving the electronic debit and credit card payment and check cashing. Their aim is to assist merchants and financial institution in the protection of their customers' personal information and reduce the risk of data breaches and compromising consumer information. NextPay is a Level One PCI compliant payment processor which is the highest security standard in the industry.
