News: Credit Union Website Reveals Best CC's
As credit card companies continue to be the subject of criticism with their continued practice of abusive activities which has placed heavy burdens on Americans, Credit Unions have become increasingly more popular. Credit Unions have been hailed as offering fairer deals with reasonable credit card interest rates and fewer hidden fees which have made them more attractive to Americans looking to escape the abusive practices of the nation's card companies. To assist Americans in their search, Card Analysis Solutions, an organization with the goal of imparting knowledge to clients in a fair, objective and unbiased manner, has launched a new website. The website is designed to assist Americans in finding consumer friendly credit union credit card products.
Ondine Irving, founder and owner of Card Analysis said the new web site became her vision when she realized that "the majority of credit unions offer the most fair and ethical credit card programs in the market, yet no one was getting the word out effectively." Irving has collaborated with Suze Orman, a well known financial expert on organizing the information for Americans on credit card options. The site has over 200 credit unions that have signed up for the registry.
The site will rate the credit card programs of each credit union on grading scale ranging from one star to five. The best rating will be those credit unions that are rated as fair and ethical. Fair and ethical credit unions have either fixed or variable interest rates of 18 percent or less, no balance transfer fees, no annual fees, $25 or less late fees and no penalty pricing. So far most of the credit unions listed on the site have a five star rating. Irving doesn't expect many if any of the credit unions that have sold their card programs to banks will qualify for the site because most of them charge more than 18 percent interest.
