  • News:  Art Van Offers GE Credit Card

Art Van Furniture, the Michigan based furniture store, has partnered with GE Money to offer their new co-branded credit card. The new Art Van Card has no annual fee and comes with flexible financing promotions with extended terms for preferred customers. Gary Van Elslander, President of Art Van Furniture, said that they chose GE Money because they are leaders in providing "consumer financing" and "home furnishings" financing. The company expects that with GE's solid history and strong marketing abilities they can offer their customers a credit card product to meet all their home furnishings needs. GE Money's Paul Schell, General Manager of Industry Programs, says they are excited about partnering with Art Van in offering the co-branded credit card.

Art Van is a family owned home furnishings specialty retailer which began in 1959 with one small 4,000 square foot store. Today Art Van has become the leading furniture retailer in the state of Michigan and operates 30 store locations in 29 Michigan cities plus an extensive online store. The Art Van credit card is eligible for use at all 30 retail locations as well as online. Art Van Furniture is known for its quality and variety of brand name home furnishings to cover the needs of every room in the home plus office and home entertainment. Every year since 2003, the retailer has been voted Michigan's Best Home Furnishings Store by the Detroit News readers. Their new co-branded credit card is expected to contribute to a future where they will remain the best.

Customers can apply for the new Van Art Furniture store credit card by visiting one their 30 store locations or can visit their web site online at www.artvan.com for more details or to fill out an application.
