  • News:  AirTran CC Flies Faster

One more premium rewards card hit the air waves. AirTran Airlines wants to send you to your dream destination in a hurry. Their new A+ Visa Signature credit card is sure to entice consumers. With an annual fee of $39, consumers can jump on their free ride by earning 10 A+ Rewards credit just for using the card the first time. They can earn an additional 10 A+ Rewards for an approved balance transfer. Additionally, the card offers 0% interest on the amount of the balance transfer for the six billing cycles. The card, however, does not come without a price. There’s a standard 3% transfer fee on the amount of the debt transferred. Along with these rewards, you earn one point for every dollar spent and double points for every dollar spent on AirTran Travel. To earn one A+ reward it takes 1000 points. AirTran awards a one takeoff and one landing ticket for each 10 A+ Rewards.

If you’re not looking to pay a $39 annual fee, AirTran offers an alternative program with no annual fee. The rewards are fewer, however, present. The no annual fee card offers 2 A+ Rewards for using the card the first time and up to 10 A+ Rewards for balance transfers. The same 0% interest on the amount transferred for the first six billing cycle applies along with the same standard fee of 3% of the amount of the debt transferred. With this card, the traveler earns one point for every dollar spent on AirTran travel and one point for every $2 spent elsewhere.

AirTran hasn’t failed to ignore the business traveler. They are offering their new A+ Business Card. The card comes with a potential higher credit limit and free additional cards for employees. The business card offers the same two programs, one with an annual fee and one without. Bottom line, what’s it worth to you? Check it out and don’t forget to read the fine print. It’s all available on line at http://www.airtran.com.
