News: CC Fraud; How Do They Do It? 23
It appears someone at the Honea Path, South Carolina rescue squad is running more than rescue missions. An investigation is underway looking into several unauthorized credit card transactions performed against the squad's card account. According to Police Chief David Kind, the charges appeared on the squad's Capital One Visa credit card that had been previously issued to the former Chief. The illegal credit card transactions included memberships to several online dating services, restaurants, travel expenses and currency cash advances. While the investigation continues, they do not believe that the former squad Chief is connected to the unauthorized transactions.

McLeod, were arrested as they exited one of the stores where they had just spent over $2,600. Never the less, Aaron McLeod was charged with fourth degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
Kevin McLeod was charged with second degree forgery and possession of a forged instrument, identity theft, and fourth degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
