U.S. Bank and Office Max Incorporated have introduced their new co-branded Visa SignatureA and VisaA Rewards credit cards. U.S. Bank is owned by U.S. Bancorp, and is the sixth largest commercial bank in the U.S. The bank has a long standing history of success in retail co-branded credit card programs that has proven effective in building customer loyalty. Ryan Vero, Executive VP and Chief Merchandising Officer for Office Max, stated that Office Max customers have always enjoyed the rewards of the company's credit card programs that have been offered in the past. The new program will build on the existing program to offer even greater benefits. Additionally, with this new partnership, OfficeMax is looking forward to being able to offer the U.S. Bank's opportunities that will complement their existing MaxPerks Rewards program.
John Owens, SVP of U.S. Bank Retail Payment Solutions stated that they are proud to be a partner with OfficeMax in offering the new no annual fee Visa SignatureA and VisaA Rewards credit cards. With the new credit card rewards program, OfficeMax customers can earn 8 percent more in rewards if they use the OfficeMax Visa card with their MaxPerks rewards. Customers will have their choice of several rewards programs including OfficeMax gift cards, cash back, merchandise, and travel opportunities.
