  • News:  Chase Launches CC Blueprint

There's a reason why JPMorgan Chase is one of the world's most successful credit card companies and financial institution; the company steadily works to liberalize its customers with new and novel platforms. With consumer awareness greatly increased due to the recession and credit card spending down, lenders cannot depend on past marketing strategies to increase earnings. Realizing that enticing customers to spend more is an ineffective strategy in the wake of the recession, JPMorgan has devised a strategy that focuses on luring credit card customers away from the company's competitors. The company wants to help Americans manage their debt through a new billing platform that will help them finance new purchases while paying others off interest free each month.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has launched its new program labeled Chase Blueprint which essentially aims to help credit card customers develop a blueprint on managing spending and borrowing. Chase Blueprint is an online system that offers free tools that calculates the number of monthly installments and the amount of interest the consumer can save by paying an amount greater than the monthly payment each month. Blueprint does more than just analyze customer credit card spending, it allows them to devise customized payment plans and monitor their progress. It is accessible to all card customers either online or working one-on-one with a Chase advisor over the phone.

Chase Blueprint consists of four features. The "full pay" feature gives customers the option to decide which expenses they choose to pay in full each month. The "split it" geared toward higher ticket products or services. This option allows customers to choose the number of payments or amount of payment that best fits their budget. The "finish it" option assists customers in creating a debt reduction plan with specific timeline goals. The last option, "track it," gives detailed snapshots of spending on a constant basis rather than having to wait for an end of year report. Chase's credit card customers can access additional information on the Blueprint features by visiting www.chase.com/blueprint.
