News: Credit Card Or Credit Card?
Most likely you've heard a lot about the surge of credit card payment and processing systems that have hit the market for mobile phones. If you share some of the same concerns of most mobile phone users, you might be somewhat confused and wondering exactly what is the difference between the two types of systems. The easiest way to determine which service you might need is to consider your needs. Are you a cardholder looking to find an easier, faster, and safer way to replace swiping your credit card? If so, you'll want to look at mobile phone applications that accept card payment. If you're a merchant looking to find a more efficient and economical way to process your customer's credit card payments, you should look at apps that process card payments.
The newest application offered to small businesses for processing their customer's credit card payments comes from Intuit and Morphie. The two companies have teamed to create the Complete Credit Card Solution. The application is an all-in-one product that allows merchants to process card payments with the use of an iPhone. Not only does the program give business owners the benefits of processing customer's card payments via the iPhone, but it also integrates Intuit's GoPayment processing application with the merchant's QuickBooks account.
The real beauty of the program is that small business owners can be easily and quickly set up to begin accepting credit card payments on their iPhone in as little as 15 minutes. The app can be downloaded and running during one fast visit to an Apple retail store. Although it is not yet available online, the company expects to have the app available soon at Apple.com. The COO of Morphie, Shawn Dougherty, said that the new program will enable small business owners to immediately and securely process electronic payments on the go.
