  • News:  Man Loses Credit Card And Marijuana

A Vallejo, California man is on a one-man mission to find a credit card thief. The man who shall remain nameless, claims he and two friends were held up at gunpoint and forced to turn over his credit card and marijuana stash. According to the man, he has legal permission to use the marijuana for medical reasons to treat his insomnia. The victim said that he was leaving a bar with his two friends at approximately 1:40 a.m. when the two men held them up. He said he willingly gave the thieves his PIN number so that they could be caught on surveillance video using the stolen credit card.

Meanwhile, the victim said that the marijuana was infused in brownies and when he told the police about the credit card theft and marijuana theft, they treated him as though he was the criminal. Additionally, he said that the police threatened to arrest him and his friends when they were the victims and not the criminals. However, according to Vallejo Police Lt. Abel Tenorio, asking for proof that the man had legal permission to process and use the marijuana was standard procedures. He also said he was not familiar with the case and said that there was no information in the file to indicate that officers did anything other than focus on the robbery and credit card theft. The man said he now fears for his life but is unable to carry a gun because of a previous marijuana charge.

The victim has reported that the credit card had been used to make several illegal transactions which his tracked to local businesses and gas stations. The victim claims that the police has not done anything to find the crooks and that when he asked the businesses if he could look at their surveillance video, however, was told that only the police could access them. The police say they are on top of things and not only are they investigating this robbery, but two homicides that occurred the day before and day after the robbery.
