HSBC Premier customers can rest assured of receiving the same great benefits from their MasterCard credit card for the next four years. MasterCard Worldwide and HSBC have renewed their contract until 2015. The President of MasterCard Worldwide's International Market division, Walt Macnee, expressed the company's excitement over the continued business relationship with HSBC and the opportunity to provide its credit card customers with "enhanced value proposition." Richard Harvey, the Global Head of HSBC's card division also noted that HSBC is also excited about renewing its contract and said MasterCard is the “key” to providing their credit card customers the “"ervice they deserve."
HSBC Premier is a subsidiary of HSBC Holdings based in London, England. Its arms extend to 88 countries worldwide. It is the world's largest banking group and as well as the 6th largest company in the world according to Forbes composite measure. In addition to offering the Premier MasterCard credit card, HSBC Premier provides individuals premium financial services product. Benefits and qualification criteria vary depending on the country; however, most require deposits and investments of at least $100,000. Alternatively, participants must meet minimum annual income requirements. Accepted customers are provided an HSBC Premier Bank Account and become a member of the bank's Independent Financial Advisory Service. Members are assigned a dedicated Premier Relationship Manager, global 24 hour access to call centers, free banking services and preferential credit card rates. Once an HSBC Premier customer, they receive the HSBC Premier services in all countries that offer HSBC Premier, without having to meet that country's qualifying criteria.
Premier MasterCard credit cardholders have a variety of options to choose from including vacation packages, shopping experience, dining and entertainment. They also experience the benefits of fraud protection with free travel insurance and next day card replacement in case of a stolen card.
